Obama revealed his plans for a national network of high speed passenger rail ways today. The budget for this is mostly included in the $787 Billion bailout, however another $5 Billion will be part of the 2010 budget. The trains will travel up to 150 mph and connect much of America.

Hopefully this can get some jobs going and have a positive impact on the environment, while reducing our dependency on foreign oil by taking cars off the road and lowering highway congestion.
